Hill Top Home of Comfort Philosophy

Three separate but interconnected crosses are Hill Top Home of Comfort’s symbol. These crosses embody the Home’s philosophy:

First, we have a no discrimination policy regarding religion, race, color or national origin;
Second, we believe in the uniqueness of each individual – that she or he is not just one of many, but an integral part of a whole community, and;
Third, we are dedicated to that preservation of that same community spirit.

These three ideas are bound together as noted in the over-lapping crosses, by the love and concern we feel for each other, be it resident or staff member.

In addition, as we care for the individual and recognize that to age is a natural part of life’s process, we have set up the following continuing goals:

  • Provide care that extends and enhances the quality of life for each resident;
  • Contribute in every way we can to the fullest possible development of each resident’s  potential by preventative, corrective or supportive care, and;
  • Above all, respect each individual’s dignity.

These positive goals represent our loving commitment to care for each resident, regardless of color, creed or status. This same concern applies not only to our residents, but also to people who care for them.

As our symbol of the three individual but unified crosses signifies, all of us at Hill Top Home of Comfort are a community of fellow human beings tied together by the love, care and concern we have for one another.
